WHAT IS HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE?

Are when the force of moving blood is pushing against the artery, is consistently high, this condition can permanently damage the arteries if care is not taking, and can lead to serious chronic or complicated condition like stroke or heart attack.

Many medical practitioners refer high blood pressure as silent killer, usually when blood pressure is at initial stage it does not show any sign but damage is progressively going in your body until reach some certain stage.

BLOOD PRESSURE (BP)

A blood pressure is force of blood pushing against your heart blood vessel. A blood pressure has to two numbers which is reading with top number which is systolic and button number which is diastolic.

  • The top number which is systolic, that measure the pressure on your artery wall, anytime your heart contracts or beat
  • Second one is the button number which refer as diastolic blood pressure, this one measure the pressure of you artery wall when your heart is relaxing

At many times hypertensive are called silent killer because it not show any sign when is in early stage unless some major damage to the organ occur, hypertensive if left untreated it damage many organ, some major complication or severe damage to organ occur that can’t be reversible here are some Complication that hypertensive caused.

KIDNEY FAILURE

according to some research published in 2001 article title major hypertensive complication by Dr tony a cadiologist, major cause of kidney failure are untreated hypertension, a high blood pressure patient supposed to monitor his bp and visit his doctor to make sure that the blood pressure is in normal range

NERVE DAMAGE

One of the major complication cause by HBP is nerve damage, some people who suffer from HBP experience severe body due to lack of some vitamin and damage nerve, some people are unable walk properly, when this condition occur it take long time before a nerve to repair some may damage permanently

STROKE

Stroke is one of the complications that HBP caused; it may lead to permanent and total brain shutdown or damage, if HBP left untreated it, caused one side of the human body to stop working due severe nerve damage and brain disorder, this condition can lead to death when care is not taking.

HEART FAILURE

A high blood pressure is one of the major caused of heart attack, and if special assistance is not given to patient it may lead to death, gradually high blood pressure lead to cardiac arrest, which result of sudden death, some research published in 2009 show that 60% of hospital client died due to heart attack are High blood pressure patient.

LIVER ENLARGEMENT (HEPATOMEGALY)

Some people that are chronic in heart disease are suffering from liver enlargement due to lack of proper blood circulation of body, and lack of enough oxygen in the blood, liver may lost some its function due some heart condition, and if care is not taking may result in liver absence or failure.

Some people that are suffering from chronic heart disease especially high blood pressure, gradually are losing their vision if proper care is not taking, because due to lack of proper blood circulation, this condition can cause many organ to start malfunction

Some people need to be checking their blood pressure regularly to maintain that their blood pressure need to be in a normal range

  • Diet control, those that are early diagnosed with pre-hypertension, counselling and diet can help in managing pre hypertension or delay it progress
  • Medication and advised from cardiologist can help in maintaining and manage high blood pressure,
  • Family history a person who knew that their families have history of high blood pressure should be monitoring his blood pressure regularly.
  • Reduced sodium intake especially when a person reach 60yrs and above
  • Obesity, sometimes being an overweight can contribute in causing a heart problems, or can contribute in making many heart disease, and can cause more cholesterol to block many heart vessels
  • Bed rest, sometimes overload work cause many health issue in some part of organ in human body including heart and brainBeing an active, always stay active,and engage with many daily activities with your friend and relatives.
